| to see you? How can non-pet owners ever | | | | when they come to me, their mom, looking to be pet |
| understand the importance of bonding with a pet and | | | | and cuddled. |
| what that gives us on a daily basis? | | | | But the best part for me is knowing that I have been |
| Personally, I love people, but people let us down. They | | | | able to rescue a pet that was tossed aside by |
| abandon us, they disappoint us. A furry friend is a true | | | | another human being. That I was able to offer a loving, |
| friend. They don't require much and yet they give us | | | | safe home to an animal that would otherwise be trying |
| so much. It's interesting how we interpret the actions of | | | | to fend for themselves. I live a very selfish life, but I do |
| our pets. I insist that my cat loves to sit on my lap and | | | | know that when it comes to my pets I have done |
| show me love, especially during the winter. | | | | something good. And the happiness I get in return is |
| My friend contends that they are nothing more than | | | | enough to help me through some of my more difficult |
| "heat seeking missiles", only out to obtain that which is | | | | days. |
